Welcome to Tizi Hike. These Terms & Conditions govern your booking and participation in guided hikes and outdoor activities provided by Tizi Hike (“we”, “us”, “our”), based in Aourir, near Agadir and Taghazout, Morocco. By booking an activity or using tizihike.com, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

Our activities

We offer guided experiences including hiking tours (such as Paradise Valley, El Gouz Summit, Hidden Canyons, and overnight treks), cooking classes, camel riding, horse riding, and e-bike tours. Activity details, routes, durations, and difficulty levels are described on the relevant page of our website and may be adjusted for safety, weather, or group needs.

Booking and confirmation

Bookings can be made through our website forms, by email, or via WhatsApp. A booking is confirmed once we reply to acknowledge your requested activity, date, and group size. Please provide accurate contact details and let us know of any special requirements at the time of booking.

  • Group sizes are limited to a maximum of 12 people per activity.
  • Some activities have a minimum booking requirement, which is shown on the relevant page.
  • Children’s participation and age policies vary by activity and are described on each activity page.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown per person in euros (€) and may vary by group size, activity, and season. Hikes start from €55 and other activities from €30; children aged 6–12 are charged at a reduced rate as indicated per activity. Prices and availability may change; the price confirmed at the time of booking applies to your reservation. Payment arrangements will be confirmed with you when you book.

Cancellations and changes

We offer free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the activity, or no-shows, may not be eligible for a refund. If you need to change your date or details, contact us as early as possible and we will do our best to accommodate you, subject to availability.

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule an activity due to weather, safety concerns, insufficient participants, or circumstances beyond our control. In such cases we will offer an alternative date or a full refund of amounts paid to us.

Health, fitness, and safety

Our activities take place in an outdoor mountain and valley environment. By participating, you confirm that you and members of your party are in suitable health and fitness for the activity chosen. You must inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or mobility issues before the activity so we can advise you.

You agree to follow the guidance and safety instructions of your guide at all times. Guides may adjust the route or pace, or end an activity early, where they consider it necessary for safety. Appropriate footwear, clothing, sun protection, and water are recommended and, where relevant, listed on the activity page.

Assumption of risk and liability

Outdoor and adventure activities carry inherent risks. You participate voluntarily and accept responsibility for the ordinary risks associated with hiking and outdoor experiences. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tizi Hike is not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from causes beyond our reasonable control or from your failure to follow reasonable safety guidance. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Insurance

We strongly recommend that all participants hold personal travel and medical insurance that covers outdoor and adventure activities. You are responsible for arranging your own cover.

Your responsibilities

  • Arrive at the agreed pickup point or location on time;
  • Provide accurate information when booking;
  • Behave respectfully toward guides, other participants, local communities, and the environment;
  • Follow all safety instructions and local regulations.

We ask all guests to respect the natural landscape and Berber communities we visit, and to leave no trace on our trails.

Photography

We may take photos or videos during activities for our website and social media. If you prefer not to appear in our content, please let your guide know and we will respect your wishes.

Intellectual property

All content on tizihike.com, including text, images, and branding, belongs to Tizi Hike or is used with permission. You may not reproduce or use our content without our written consent.

Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco. Any dispute relating to your booking will be subject to the applicable Moroccan jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you may have in your country of residence.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your booking applies to that booking.
